Meet Viola (“Vi”) Bensen
Viola (“Vi”) Bensen earned her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and her Bachelor’s degree from Macalester College, where she double majored in International Studies and Hispanic Studies. Vi has worked in immigration law since 2018 in a variety of roles supporting humanitarian, family-based, and employment-based matters. Vi also interned at the Fort Snelling Immigration Court. Before entering immigration practice, Vi worked as a bilingual Community Family Advocate with Casa de Esperanza, supporting survivors through crisis response and shelter advocacy. She also studied abroad in Madrid and speaks professional-level Spanish.
